How To Choose A Life Coach

Life coaches come in all sizes and shapes. Many promise happiness, amazing personal growth and stellar success.

These promises may seem too good to be true.

That’s because, in many cases, they are.

I don’t make unrealistic promises.

What I do promise is that I will work as hard and as long as it takes to help you make the best choices, ones that you might not even know you have.

We’ll work together to figure out how you can move forward in your life.

So how do you decide if we’re a good fit?

Questions to Ask Yourself

  • In your first conversation, did you feel that I really heard you?
  • Do we seem to speak the same language?
  • Are my experience and training good resources for you to tap?
  • Can you trust me to be straight-forward?
  • Did you feel hopeful after our first conversation?

The comments from my clients on each page of this web site give a sense of how my clients and I work together.

How to Decide about Me

Let's get acquainted on the phone. After we talk, you should be more hopeful and confident that:

  • I listen well.
  • I am able to ask useful questions, ones that you hadn't thought about before.
  • It's a good fit. If not, I’ll try to suggest someone else.
  • You’ll find me practical, creative and reassuring.

What Joan H. Says about Me:
I have been working with Barb for a long time and continue to see her “as needed.” She has been a key component during the most difficult time in my life. Her wisdom, professionalism and dedication have helped me through muddy waters – waters that are now more clear and healthy. She is my go-to resource when I don’t quite know how to navigate personal and family issues.
